Meetforeal events are about learning, sharing, but ultimately, they are a forum for people to meet like-minded people and have interesting conversations. Each event is different, and people from all walks of life to come along and participate, to enrich the discussion, to bring more ideas to the table, so everyone can learn something; share ideas, and meet cool people.

Learn:
We chose Stuart to be one of the speakers for this next event as his enthusiasm for his job is palpable, and he is inspiring to listen to. His camera equipment and skills as a film maker have given him an opportunity to travel and participate in incredible adventure sports events, such as 7in7on7, where the team travelled around the world to do 7 ultra marathons in 7 continents in 7 days in March this year; and the Ocean Row Event, where a team rowed across the Atlantic to break the world record in 2007.

Stuart will be showing us some of his fantastic footage, telling us tales about his exciting adventures, and taking your questions on how to combine the things in your life that you love the most.

Also we are excited to welcome members of Crewger screening a selection of completed films and different elements from works in progress. They will be on hand to answer any questions about their work.

Share:
"Show my Stuff" where you guys get to show us some of your work to the audience. FilmBase have kindly donated a subscription which will be up for grabs, as well as other goodies on the night. This is not like a film festival, or a competition, but its just a creative way to enrich the content of the event, so you guys have the opportunity to share what you are working on with the people who care.

Play:
Time for getting to meet like-minded people is really important, so in this part you can meet different people at the event, and have cool conversations, and its a great way to form collaborations and start cool projects with people.
Who is this event for? Meetforeal events are themed, but that doesnt mean that you cant come if you dont know anything about film making, adventure sports, or marathon running. All we ask is that you are interested in learning, and come with an open mind. If you also love bouncing your ideas off people, and discussing ideas, then you will love it!
How can I participate? If you have an idea of something you would like to showcase at the event, then please let us know, and if you make a request to "Show my Stuff", below, you may be chosen to show some of your own film footage, (a 5-10 minute short), your photographs, or talk about your adventure/idea on the stage in a 5 minute slot. The first 5 requests will win free tickets to the event!
