One Laptop Per Child interview

Here's a short interview we did at 26C3, Berlin, December 2009, with Christoph Derndorfer who gave a talk about what's happening with the one laptop per child project, (OLPC) and sugarlabs.

It is an incredibly interesting project, with 1 million children now using the laptops.

Anything that makes learning more accessible, more fun, and more important in the eyes of parents and societies is very exciting, and some of the software that is being built sounds really cool - including conservation and preservation so kids can capture the stories, recipes, photographs and languages of their communities, as well as all of the benefits that come from having access to the internet.
