Its been a long week, today we can finally say its all done though! Yipee! We were having problems with the payment part and needed to make sure everything was perfect and solid, without cause for complaint so you guys can trust us with your dwindling funds in a rampant recession :)

I'm really excited now about moving on to the next part of the idea, which is the point of it all, to meet new people!

Its been interesting to watch how the concept rests with people. I'm hoping they split into 2 groups:

With some, they grab it with both hands and say - "Yes! This is just what I was looking for! Great idea!" or "This is great! We already do it but we don't have a name for it!" which is so inspiring. It gives us a boost to keep on going because without people who care, we are lost.

With others, it takes a few explanations and a bit of time for the idea to sink in before they can get excited about it. The looping effect of where your brain checks out the idea against some fundamental variables: Do I need to change? Does this threaten me or my ideas or the way I live my life? Do I really need a new challenge or more learning? Do I want to meet new people?

I suppose we have lived with the idea for so long now that we can't see those questions anymore. But I think coming to our events requires 2 key things: an open mind, and a curious nature.
